NDA (I) 2021 Notification


NDA (I) 2021 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has releases NDA 1 2021 Notification. The online registrations for NDA 2021 are now open at Candidates who have passed 12th class are eligible to apply for NDA exam 2021. As per the released notification, the NDA (I) exam is scheduled for April 18, 2021. UPSC has announced a total of 400 vacancies for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (NDA & NA Exam). Similarly, the notification for NDA (II) 2021 shall release on 09 June 2021, and NDA (II) 2021 exam is scheduled on 05 September 2021.

The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit eligible candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force Wing of the National Defence Academy.

NDA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for NDA (I) must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Check out the NDA (I) eligibility criteria 2021 below:


  • Candidates applying for NDA should be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • Male candidates who are born not before July 02, 2002, and not after July 01, 2005, can apply for NDA (I) exam.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam to apply for Army Wing of National Defence Academy.
  • Aspirants who have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for Indian Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the INA.

Physical Standard

  • Candidates intending to apply for NDA exam should be physically and medically fit as per the NDA standards available on the official website.

NDA 2021 Application Form

The application form for NDA 2021 can be filled online via Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications by following the steps provided below:

Step 1: Browse the official website of UPSC,

Step 2: Reaching on the website, click on ‘apply online’.

Step 3: Tap on the ‘Online Application for Various exam’

Step 4: After clicking on the relevant links, aspirants have to register themselves.

Step 5: Thereafter, start filling NDA 2021 application form and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Click on the ‘submit’ button and take a print out of the filled application form to keep it safe for future use.

  1. Fee will be paid maximum in two instalments. Atleast 70% fee to be paid at the time of admission and balance 30% within 1 to 2 months from start of the course.
  2. Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstance.
  3. Filling in of exam application forms and their submission to the exam conducting authority will be the responsibility of student himself.
  4. Student will be responsible for his physical, medical and educational eligibility for a particular course before taking admission. No fee in full or part will be refunded once the student has taken admission in the academy.
  5. Change in address and contact No if any to be notified to the office immediately on occurrence.
  6. Student enrolled with DDA will provide his entrance examination roll number to office immediately on receipt of his admit card from the exam conducting authority.
  7. DDA reserves its right to make any alteration in its program/fees without any prior notice to anybody.
  8. Students will follow all rules, regulations and instructions of the institute and will stay within its discipline parameters.
  9. Student found involved in any indiscipline or misconduct will be expelled from the academy without any notice or refund of fee.
  10. DDA guides, coaches and trains the students for defence forces’ entries but does not promise or guarantee the jobs.
